So, here are my initial load tests. My 40x with my brand new Kreiger 13.5 twist with a zero freebore 6Br chamber. Starting from scratch with no preconceived notions or copying anyone else's loads. LT 32 powder. 70 Speer TNT moly. 205 match primers. 20 thou in from touching is the top row (hard jam). Conditions were NEVER really very good. It is hot here and very humid with a mirage that is wiggling about 1/8 to 1/4 minute. Gusting winds from the 6 oclock.

Seating depth rows across and powder charge vertical columns.

There is a node at 3215 ish. Note on the bottom row how the velocities actually DROP after the node.

So, here is the next day. Using the 4 thou in seating depth and adding 2 thou in. I kept going up in powder and found the next node which is at 3323 or so. This target shows a true node on the upper row which is the 4 thou in row. The velocities are lower on either side of the 29.9 node and the POI is stable for the most part. Also note the velocities are quite stable on the upper row.

Note the lower row at 2 thou in shot even tighter. But it appears the node had moved one charge to the right. I need to reshoot these two depths. The bottom row was shot in the worst conditions of the day.

Just for fun here is the 55 Varmageddon. The seating depth was taken from the 70 TNT and set to 4 thou in (the nose must be the same for both bullets because they hit the lands at the same length).

3950 and still climbing with no pressure. Note the POI is so stable.
