6BR 10" twist, what bullets work

Well I ordered my first 6br barrel today, a 10 twist Brux no turn neck 26"length this will go on a savage target action. I told them I wanted it throated for bullets weighing 95gr and down to as small as 70gr. I really don't have a particular bullet in mind but I thought by specifying my barrel like this it would be a catch all for everything in that range there are so many from 75 to 90. My only purpose for this gun is informal target shooting and varmints. What do youall think.

The Berger 80`s should be a good one to try as well.....

A 12 twist should handle 55`s up to 87-88`s depending on the length, and the speed, of the bullet...

the berger 95 VLD may work, it does not in mine. 90 gr BT, 87 gr VLD, 80 gr Berger's 95 gr Bib's.

In my Cooper (1-10) weights from 66 to 95 work well. The Hornady 87 V-Max, 90 Scenar and 95 Bergers are very accurate with the proper loading. The 70 Sierra HPBT is scary accurate out to 300 yards.

Thanks for the replies, I was told it would be around twelve weeks same with the McMillan stock I ordered so I've got plenty of time to study on it.

Berger 87 VLD hunting and the 95 BIB flatbase work in my two 10 twists. A lot depends on your freebore and if your barrel likes jumping or jamming.

+1on the 95FB BIB's and the Precision Ballistics LLC 90 FB are also extremely accurate at 300 in my 10 twist.

I have a 10 twist Kreiger and anything from 55 gr Nosler to 95 grain sierras have shot well. The 70 Gr Sierra Blitz King are great for varmints, all my berger work well from 60 gr to 80 gr. You will like the 10 twist, lots of 6mm Remingtons early on were 10 twist and would take anything to 100 gr.

My Krieger 1:10 loves Randy's 95 BIB but it also shoots the Berger 95 VLDs well. Give me Randy's bullets anyday. Luck, Tim
