I just got my 1-10 6br this week and I'm waiting on my dies to start reloading for it.I'm going to try the 95vlds right off the bat,I'll keep you posted. They shoot good in my 1-91/8 savage and am interested to see how they work in a 1-10.

I have a 1-10 twist barrel and it stabilized the 95 grain Berger VLD's. However, if you search the site carefully, a faster twist rate is recommended for the Berger 95 VLD. It seems that not all 1-10 twist barrels will stabilize the VLD due to slight differences in the actual twist rates. This is for the standard 6mmBR case. Extra speed should help stabilize the bullet.

So in my experience, my 1-10 twist barrel stabilized the Berger 95 gr VLD OK. Your results might differ.

The 87 grain V-max should be fine as supported by the other posters.

My 6BR 1:10 twist shoots great using the 87gr v-max, Loves the Berger High BC\FB 88gr match, I will soon get my hands on some Berger 90gr match and give them a go. I'm sure they will do just as well. Very Happy with my 1:10 twist.

I've shot the 90 Grain Berger with 31 grains of Varget and got very good accuracy with my 1-10 but the 87G V-max I haven't got to group good yet. I just posted a thread asking for accuracy load suggestions for the 87G V-max. I think it will have better splat factor for critters and half the cost of the bergers if I can get a good accuracy load found.

Miss is a four letter word.

I have tried the 95 vld in the 10 twist. It only shot a 1.75 inch 5 shot group at 300 yds on the first attempt. Will try a different load or seating depth this weekend.

Follow up on the 95s.I have got them into about .3 at 100 yd and will try them at 300 again this weekend.

I have a 1:10 barrel as well. Plan on shooting 88 Match, 90 LD's and 95 VLD's this coming week. I'll let you know which produce the best results.

Thanks.I have got the 88 and 95 bergers to shoot at 100yd 88 in the 2s and 95 in the 3s.I have gotten the 80 bergers and 87 v-max under 2 on several different shooting sessions. Can't wait to shoot at 300 and 600.

87 V-max's is my guns favorite 1-10 twist, wollered out hole at 100 and 200 yards. I killed everything from crows, hogs and deer with the 87's . I want to try Barnes new bullets, haven't got around to ordering some.Speer makes a 85 gr that some of the other guys use.

I've been thinking about a 6br pistol barrel for the Encore.
I would like to try to shoot 85s, 87s and maybe 105s...I'm thinking 1-8 should work for all.
Not sure about the jump from the 85s to the 105s is going to be though.

Shot some groups ar 300yds with 95 smk and 87 vmax.1 group of the 95s were around an inch, while the rest were around 1.5.Any suggestions?
