No. If you spec a freebore then no need for a dummy.

How about a "Bore rider" ?? Did'nt Lou Murdica make this a
thing for a while ??

A lot of use have experimented with bore riders or stepped throats with varying success.

With a zero freebore, any lead angle, the seating depth can vary depending on the starting diameter . Reference a SAAMI 300 WM. Zero freebore but the starting diameter is .315", 1-26'-37"
