69gr & 80gr SMK into rifling or jump in 22BR?

I'm loading for a 9 twist 22BR .254 Nk with 69gr and 80gr SMK / Varget and Fed205.

Should I jump this .010 or have them touching the rifling??

I'm pretty new to this.. shot my first 20rds today in a new gun and my time to loat rifle. Nothing blew up and I hit the paper.. so, a good day.

Your not gonna like how the 80gr are gonna shoot in your 1-9 twist... If the dont't keyhole on the paper, they will spray all over your target.
The 69's MK - 75gr Amax will be perfect and you should expect 3400fps out of at least a 24" barrel with the 69's.

Varget / VV N140 would be excellent... Don't forget aboutH BLC2 or H380 or AA2460 / 2520...

One thing my 22BR,Sav 12 PacNor 1-8" 22BR .243nk .050fb)is quite
awesome with the 60gr Sierra HP and a stiff load of IMR4895...!
3658fps and makes Coyotes fall over dead....!

Try both... I like loading JUST to the leade of the throat. I.E. .001 off the lands... Shoots very well and wont stick a bullet in the lands if I need to extract a live cartridge.

I only shot the 80gr last week and with a 27gr and 27.5gr load of Varget and .10 off the rifling I was getting a 1"+ group.

I will try some of the 69gr SMK this weekend. On and off the rifling. I may also try seating the 80gr out a bit farther.

If that's not what you are looking for try 70 or 75 gr Berger VLD's they shoot great for me.
