60gr Vmax 223 reload

Does anybody have any data on reloading 60 grain Vmax with IMR4895? My hornady manual has IMR 4895 for 50 and 55 grain Vmax, but does not have it under 60 grain Vmax.

I am still pretty new to reloading so I apologize if this is a question, somebody has already asked. I have looked all over trying to find data.

The 53 grain V Max is much flatter

The 60 Vmax and H4895 / IMR 4895 is my favorite combo for my 8" twist Tikka 223's. Super accurate and a hammer on predators. This bullet shoots much more accurately than any 55's I've tested in my 8" twist 223's.

I always prefer the bullet manufacturer's data but at the time, I could find none published by Hornady, so I used Hodgdon data to carefully work up my load.

I’ve shot a lot of factory loads in my RRA 8” twist and it loves 60-62 gr so I’m hoping I can fine tune with hand loads

Thank you for this. Apparently I need to get more reloading manuals.
You're welcome.

In pre-internet days, I bought almost every manual available, which was great for comparing data between them to get a better overview of starting & stopping points.

A bigger plus for the new reloader, is the in depth directions of every aspect of the reloading process.

The 60 Vmax has a flat base, long shank and seem tailor made for the 8" twist 223 Rem, at least that has been my experience.

I am getting sub 1/2 moa from sporter weight from my Tikka T3X's Lites and smaller in my heavy barrel Varmint model. Varget is also giving me excellent results.

I am using Federal 205M match primers.
