600yd 200-23x shot last night

While I realize I don’t run a registered match so this is all conjecture to many, I still wanted to post an amazing accomplishment by one of the shooters in my group. At last nights match ShannaLisa shot an amazing 200-23x using her Dasher. With about 35 people in attendance, you can only imagine how many people were hooting and hollering for her as she got these rounds down range. The collective gasp on shot 24 was a combination of frenetic enthusiasm and disappointment all wrapped into one.

As one of my other shooters stated “If this were a registered match with the NRA, you not only would own the Women’s record by 4 x’s, but you would have tied the Open record with 20 +3 x’s”

A job well done!

Awesome shooting but this is the problem with e targets. No verification. It says it has a problem with a sensor so are each shot really where they are? Like the line ones.
But again, this is good shooting so don’t get your panties in a wad.

yes no maybe..We have all shot at plenty of matches that are not sanctioned, at least f class shooters have, on non e targets and it would be the same problem as far as records.

my post had nothing to do with sanctioned or not.
good try
dont get the good try... (I do..) point was it was great shooting but even if it was shot on a manually pulled target its one of those tihngs that will never get credit...not a approved match...obviously your possible in the anti e target group and have a issue with there accuracy and yes the sensor fault doesn’t help

what part did you miss that I said it was great shooting? Twice!!

Congrats on her awesome shooting! I hope someone took a photo of the target afterwards just for reference, even if it is calibrated high.

On a related note, I run a F-class league in MN and we started using shotmarker targets last season. One night, one of our nat'l record holding Open shooters was shooting a new F-TR rifle. Every shot was recorded as an X. It started out as everyone being amazed as his shooting. after about 25 shots, he thought we were messing with him so he added 2 MOA to his elevation. Next shot was an X too. It turns out our pit staff had accidentally swapped two cables on the sending unit. I don't remember which two but I hope it happens to me sometime too!

You write all that negative crap about "no verification" and "are each shot really where they are" and you expect everyone to just shine it on because you threw on a "good shooting" at the end?

We had a 600-yd fun match last night, too, using the ShotMarkers for the first time. No one shot anything close to what this gal did. Phenomenal shooting!
