600 yard targets: IBS vs NBRSA

michaelnel

Old and In The Way
I am wondering why the 600 yard targets for IBS have the white square in the middle while the NBRSA ones do not.

Is the white square some kind of aiming aid?

NBRSA:

(and no, I did not shoot either of these groups)

A lot of shooters aim for one of the corners to shoot more accurately and sometimes it's easier to see one of the corners than the center of the target.

Hold on now.

I shot an IBS 600 shoot at Manatee last Saturday. Looked at those two targets pictured and got to thinking...LOOK!

There's a third version.

Now stop laughing at my shooting. Stop it now!

That's it. On the top left it says..."NRA License #1".

Guess there are variations by different organizations and maybe printers.

Tell how you shot an IBS 600 match with non IBS targets?……. I'm sure it won't count……. jim
