By mid-day the temperatures were in the low 40's with 100% cloud-cover, combined with 6-10 mph winds the conditions were challenging to say the least. However, we built a little character, got some fresh air, and visited with new and old friends, life is good.

We started the day with the Heavy Gun match.
Roger Hightower won Score
David Scherman won Group
David Scherman also won Overall.

The Light Gun match was SWEPT by Timothy Barber..... great shooting Tim!

The Two-Gun match was won by Jerry Carter........ need to keep an eye on that pesky 284, it keeps rising to the top!!!

The small group of he day was shot by Dennis McAffee with a 1.521" Group
The highest score of the day was shot by Timothy Barber with a 49-0X
Jeff Howard won the closest to the X contest just under 1/4"

Great shooting everyone, it really was a good day.

This was the third match I shot my rail-gun in, I will post the info a bit later.

Good shooting in those conditions guys! Did Clay not bring his rail gun to this match?

Yep balmy, we shot in mid teens yesterday . 18 shooters including 3 ladies. I am glad to see shooters competing in the winter months. I bet they are amongst the winners in the summer months.

I agree, these are the folks who's groups are shrinking season to season.

We will have a 100/200 practice match in a couple of weeks, and an F-Class match next Saturday, these folks are hearty for sure!

Mid 40's heck that's Balmy...
That it is! It is all relative though. When it get over 100, I start heading for the shade. You will notice we have matches 10 months of the year........ we skip July and Aug most years.
