215 berger

20-25 lb weight

muzzle brake suggestions ?
no rear angled ports, straight only (right ??)

If this is for your bench gun, and you intend to shoot it in competition, rearward ported brakes are prohibited almost everywhere. The verbage in most rules also require them to be radial, not allowing side port only (or any other configuration).

240 Muzzle Brake. A device connected to the muzzle of a rifle that redirects propellant gases to 241 counter or control recoil. Muzzle Brakes may not be of “Clamshell” or any other design that 242 intentionally exit gas directly rearward. Note: By the nature of gas dissipation, there will be some rearward movement of gases. The intent here is to prohibit muzzle brakes designed to 244 intentionally direct this gas rearward beyond the 90 degree plane.

no requirement for radial

2.3.Muzzle brakes may be used, but they may not be of a "clamshell" or any other design that exit gases to the rear.

so again no requirement for a radial
just no rear brake, 90 degrees is ok
I'd recommend that you Read the Rules of the sanctioning organization(s) you plan to compete with. It'll save you time & posting and the information you find will be accurate and it won't result in conjecture & opinions......
