6 x47 loads for varmints

using 68 grain bullet and 1/14 twist barrel at 26 in long what can i expect in volicty for this cartrige?what would be some loads to us in said gun?

Gary, That weight should work with that twist. I have 1 - 8 twist in my rifle and have only tried the Berger 105 VLD's. Sorry I can't be more help. Bill
 
I have a 1:12 twist on a .243AI that only gets fed 55- 65 grain bullets and it works fine. I'd assume the 68 grain bullets should work well for you as well.

I have been using 6mm/22-250 data from the Hodgdon website to test 69 to 85 gr bullets in my Savage target action with Pac-nor 26" 10 twist 6X47L barrel. The velocities track fairly well with Hodgdon data. I have not tested enough to come up with a favorite, but IMR 4895, W760 and H380 show promise. I will be testing more as soon as the weather warms up and the wind lays a bit. I will be testing H4895 as Hodgdon shows it giving the highest velocity with 70 gr bullets. Vic
