6 PPC 100 yard targets from Saturday

shot UBR match Saturday and shot my best 100 yard score to date,,I had shot 259 before a couple times but never shot 260,

shot 66,64,66 on first 3 targets and knew I needed a 64 to meet one of my goals for the day and shoot a 260 at 100 yards,,I am gonna blame it on a little mirage as the wind was pretty calm,,I had three 11`s and two 10`s gettin ready for the last shot,,an 11 would get me the 260 and anything less would not,,I was actually gettin a rush and my hands were shakin,,I raised my head up and looked over all the flags and took a couple deep breaths and tried to calm myself best I could and waited for the flags to fall just like I wanted and threw a round in that ole Farley action and shot a sighter and threw another round in and let it rip and blew that dot out,,,,260 probably doesnt excite most of yall but I am here to tell ya I was pumped on that last shot,,I wound up shootin 506 and was really tickled with that score on the Grand Agg but I was really fired up only droppin 4 points at 100 yards,,

pic of the targets,,,,any of yall that has a chance to shoot UBR and dont just because it isnt IBS or some other group are really missin out on a really fun target where you can shoot a 6PPC or 22 Beggs and have just as much a chance as you would with a 30BR,,come try it..

261 is very good shooting my friend,,there has only ever been like less than 5 264`s shot since the UBR format was developed,,I would really like to catch that dot 24 times in a row but that is setting some really high goals,,but it isnt impossible.

I wish someone would bring it up to the North East. Ct. in particular.

It's not that difficult. All you need is a range willing to hold matches and someone willing to run them. $30 per year range fee and $2 per match from the shooters to record SSOY points. Target cost is also about $2 per shooter for two yardages. Not much to it. Anyone interested in giving it a try can contact me or Danny Hensley and we'll get you some sample targets out to try.
