6 mm Remington help

Since Quick Load still doesn't have a version for Mac computers, is anyone out there willing to look up a load for me? I need a load for 6 mm Remington using Varget powder and Berger 108 gr. Match boat tail Target bullet, Hornady brass and Winchester primers. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I suggest that you check out Hodgdon or Nosler on-line - but I wouldnt be loading Varget behind a 100+g pill, but 34g=38g is the range Better look at H4350 or H4831.-top load is 43.5g of 4350 for about 3100fps.
Which is way lower than what the 6mm Rem is capable of being pushed to.
A mate pushed his custom rig to 200fps faster than anything you'll see in print with 105 Berger's and RL17.
Watched him take a jackrabbit @820yds with it.

And if it isn't in print, it isn't accepted as safe in most rifles. I've owned and shot many 6rems, 3100-3150 is about right for 105 class bullets using H4831sc.

If I can get 3150 from a 6GT with a 108 Berger, a 23" barrel, following Hodgdon data, plus not physically observing any pressure signs whatsoever, a case with 13-14grns more h2o capacity, can do it easily. Varget isn't the answer though, not in 6xc, 6cm, 243, or 6mm Rem. H4350 is the fastest burner I'd use. If you want the real potential of a 6mm Remington, RL16, RL17, N555, Ramshot Hunter, and Staball 6.5 on the fast side of powders, on the slower side, RL22, 23, 26, N560, N565, Imr7828ssc, MRP, Magpro, Magnum, and Grand. My money says Staball 6.5, RL26, and Grand, give the highest accurate velocity. I've used H1000 and Retumbo before, in the 6mm Remington, and they shoot great as well, and are pretty fast, but more compressed than most people care for.

My last 8 twist 26" 6mm Remington Ackley Improved loved Reloder26 with 105 hybrids...for about 1000 rounds.

I'm not going to say my exact velocity...

but it was between 3350 and 3400.

Before anyone says its too hot, that Norma brass had seven firings and the primer pockets still measure .208" when the barrel gave up.

I don't doubt it a bit, I had a 243 factory 9.125 twist remington, didn't like any of the 103-108s, loved 95grn classic hunters at 3320 with RL26 in SSA stamped brass (Nosler overrun), that was a very mild load for a 26" barrel, it would do 3450 easily, but I believe the next sweet spot would have been north of 3500, and probably killed the brass. It shot so good at 3320, that I didn't even care. I took it to 1430 yards, where I ran out of scope, and after 4 firings the brass still looked new, and I sold the rifle. I get 3205 now from a 30" 6 Creedmoor using 108 elite hunters and Staball 6.5, so I'm not regretting getting rid of the 243. I do most of this inside the confinements of listed data, unless I happen upon a combo that absolutely loves being pushed hard, but I still stop before I need to worry about eating a bolt for lunch. Grand is the only powder I've found that will match RL26, and they act the same, if they work in a given case, they really work. Only difference is, certain cases may not hold enough Ramshot Grand, to reach full pressure.
