6 mm AI accuracy loads for 115 DTAC

Looking for some advise. Just re-barreled a little 6 AI with a Lila 26" 7 twist three groove and was looking to shoot 115's . So far I've found it shoots 105' VLD's. 1/4 moa great but the DTAC doesn't want to shoot so good. I've tried RL 22, Ramshot Magnum and Retumbo powders, all shoot 1 moa or a little more. Don't want to run a couple hundred rounds down the tube trying find a load. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I build this rifle with the DTAC's in mind did I miss something?

While I haven't loaded for a 6mmAI, I do have a 6-284 7.5 twist. A very healthy charge of RL33 & Fed 215M primer hovers around 1/2 - 3/4 MOA @ 1,000 yards. Slightly over 1/4 MOA @ 400 yards. I have only shot it @ 100 yards a few times to get a zero. The load that is easy on the brass & has a 20 shot avg. of 3407 fps across an Oehler 35P with 105 Hybrids. They shot so well I didn't even get around to trying the 115 DTAC's. With H1000, RL25, RL22, Ramshot Magnum, IMR 7828 & H4831SC it seems just a little more jolt, snappy if you will. I know not a very good description but the rifle had a different "ring" to it. RL33 was well mannered.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to look for some RL33, Don't have a lot of slow powder. I'll give H1000 a try also.

I HOPE U HAVE BETTER LUCK THAN I HAVE W/THAT 3 GROOVE LILJA I'LL STILL HAVEN'T GOT MINE TO SHOOT BEEN SENT TO DAN LILJA TO BE CHECKED IT RELAPPED WE RECROWNED IT STILL WANT SHOOT SO MINE NOW STANDS IN THE CORNER SO GOOD LUCK!

We'll see, it shoots 105 VLD's 1/4 -3/8 MOA @ 500 yds can almost cover 5 shots with a quarter. I was hoping for the same accuracy with 115's because 7 twist. You're the first one that I've heard of that had trouble with the 3 groove barrel. I'll let you know how we do.
