Guy's i'm new to the dasher, just got one and dont have it set up yet and shooting. It's a bartlein 26" Hv,8 twist.
it seems from what i can read RL15 is the powder to go to, with varget a close second..BUT i'm a little different I like to fill the case with a slow powder..so i was wondering if anyone has experimented with a slower full case load powder with the 105 gr range of bullets and what you have found...may save me some trouble..
But i was thinking, H414,AA2700,AA4350 RL17 ect.
I have heard some good things about RL17 and that is a powder i have..
The most consistant load i ever had in a 22-250 was a heavy dose of H414 incredible velocity and consistant over a large temp swing even into the high 90's in that cardridge, but i know the powder and you can get a bunch of it in a dasher case..
This is conversation and curiosity as to why the RL15 in the 33 to 34 gr range.
I have shot 34.0 gr of RL15 in a 6BR, with a 3 groove 14 twist barrel with a 70 gr bullet. I know the dasher holds more powder than that..Just wondering?
