6 Dasher load for 87gr VMax

[Oldtimer]

Need a fire form load as well as dasher load for 87 VMax in a 12 twist. Main use will be to protect friends and family from prairiedogs.

Try 33.5 to 34 gr of V-135.
Very good accuracy
Good to 1,000 Plus

I used BR4's

I use the 450 Magnum primer in the Dasher but the br-4 should be fine

I very seriously doubt that a 12 twist will stabilize an 87gr v-max. You will probably have to step down to a 75 v-max.

Try 32.7 gr. Varget - .020 in with a CCI 450 primer. You can also fireform with this load and get great accuracy . My chamber has .080 free-bore.
