6 Dasher HBN coated bullets

I picked up an HBN bullet coating kit a while back from David Tubb. At the time I only planned to tinker with the stuff on my big hunting rifles. However, I find myself about 1/3 of the way into our benchrest seasons with a lot more rounds on my barrel than I wish I had. My throat seams to be progressively wearing faster and Im not really at a great point to replace it $$$. My question is... Does any one have experience with HBN coated bullets in a bench gun? (good or bad) Im putting some loads together right now to test.

I use HBN in everything I shoot, but I certainly cant say it will help prolong the life of your throat. We have to up the charge, but the coating seems to help us get to the next node. So far the coated bullets dont affect the cold bore impact... very important in our game.
