6 Dasher fire forming load

Using Varget and 105 - 108's usually use 30 grains. But I have some new
hydra formed brass and wondered what you guys use. Thanks Jim

With hydo formed brass, anneal after hydo forming, 31.5 gr of Varget. Gives around 2860 fps and sharp shoulders. Accuracy is better than good.

I made the mistake of running full-power loads after hydroforming. It seems like the theory of the case head work hardening has some merit.

Only Hydra-Formed Dasher brass I use is from DJ's Brass. All his brass is done right. When you receive it every piece chambers silky smooth and will properly headspace. I just load my usual 32.7 Varget and shoot.

Primer pockets on that brass loosened prematurely when compared to brass that was fired with a mild load on the first firing.

Mine is just one anecdotal data point. YMMV
