6 dasher coyote rifle

I'm looking to build a coyote rifle in 6 dasher and wanted to see what everybody else is shooting out of their dashers and what barrel length your running!

24-26”. 105 vid hunt bullets Although if you can get you’re hands on some old Amax 105g bullets They are the best coyote bullet I’ve ever shot And I tried everything Dasher and amax is magic

The 87 V-max is one of my all time favorite coyote bullets in a 6BR or 6 Dasher. This bullet will expand at any distance you can place the shot. Also very hide friendly if the shot is placed correctly. Happy hunting and shoot straight!

I have a 22” Brux 8 twist chambered in 6mm Norma Dasher that shoots the 105 AMAX at 2950 fps using 32.5 gr Varget.

Why not make up a 6bra instead of a dasher? less hassle and same performance. more neck.

I’d get a shorter than normal freebore and shoot 87 VLDH.

Large match bullets generally kill coyotes pretty well but not like a medium weight.

I’ve tried them all (I think) and I’m pretty set on 68 avengers and 70 varmageddons but I’ll admit the 87 and 90 Berger are a lot better in the wind.

Yup, the 87 gr. H-VLD's at, 3,135 FPS, ARE, a "Killer" Bullet,.. in a 1-10 Twist, 6 MM !

I run the 87gr Berger in my standard BR on a Model Seven action. It seems to work well with not a lot of pelt damage on the ones that do exit. The first bullet I tried in it was the 95TMK and that bullet would just about rip coyotes in half. They dang sure didn't go anywhere but damn it was rough on dogs.

My grandson Runs these V-Maxes for, CHEAP,.. Steel Practice but, shoots the 87 H-VLD's for SERIOUS Kill's on,.
BIG, desert Mule Deer.
The 87 gr. H-VLD's shoot, slightly Better Group's and, the ES,.. IS, tighter ( W/ Same, VV N-160, Powder Chg )
Both, the V-Maxes and the Berger's, should, easily, "Shred" Coyotes !
