6 Dasher Brass Hydro Formed form HLR?

Anyone know how long it typically takes for them to fill a back order for the Dasher brass?

Back order?
It isn't hard to find Lapua 6BR brass in stock right now so why should they backorder your hydro formed Dasher?
Never ordered from HLR but got some of their brass once. Only once.

Lapua 6BR brass is current available at PV and Midway. I bought a couple boxes 2 months back and FF. I also ordered a couple boxes of the Hydro Formed brass from HLR at the same time. It was and is listed as being "available on back order" place the order and it charged my card. I am guessing they might accumulate a bunch of orders then do a large batch at one time. I have emailed them and left a voice message trying to find out the status of my order but have not gotten a reply. I am in manufacturing and completely understand the impact COVID is having on deliveries. Just trying to figure out if my order is lost or something else. Was wondering if other people have ordered the brass from HLR and how long they have been waiting or if they have received it.

I've been using DJ's brass service. Buy your br brass from wherever then ship it to DJ. He usually has it done and back to you within one week and does excellent work. You could probably coordinate with DJ order the brass and have it shipped straight to him. Very good guy, overflowing with shooting and reloading knowledge. I won't use anyone else now.

Ditto what Coolcarl said. After 6 weeks on backorder at HLR and no response to emails, I cancelled order and went with DJ's Brass. Had brass shipped direct to him and he turned order around in less than a week. Highly recommend him.

Ryan from HLR replyed to the email sent him today. He apologized for the delay and miss communication. Said they are currently processing brass and expecting 20 more cases next week to continue processing. Should see my brass very soon.

Yeah, steer clear of HLR is my vote and experience. 'nuff said...

I have had nothing but excellent service from DJ + he’s a pretty good ole guy other than being from Alabama!!
