I'm having an action barreled in 6 Dasher with a Krieger 10 twist. I would have liked a 8 or 9, but this one came up on this site so I didn't have to order one. It will be a no turn with .104 FB. I gave my 243s to the son in laws and need a hunting rifle for deer and smaller. My question is, should I use 95 VLD or Classic for deer?

Both good bullets, but VERY different on optimal freebore windows.
That reality is compounded with the shorter Dasher neck.
FWIW, I would go faster than 10T for the VLD.

if you have any of the 87 gr Hunting VLD's, part # 24524, they absolutely turn the lights off.

To be on the safe side for stabilization, I would pick the Classic. It is .061 shorter than the VLD and Berger recommends a 10 Twist for the Classic and 9 Twist for the VLD

I shot the 95 vld's in 10tw BR that was awesome. I also fire formed some Dasher brass with 95's that really surprised me in 8tw.
