6 Dasher 6 BRX 6 BR help

which caliber and why I want to build a HV or LV rifle and I can't make up my mind which one to go with i'm leaning twords a 6 dasher but i'm new to the IBS world I've shot only ground hog competitions in PA which was 200-300 & 500meters 5shot per round competitions with a stock sako 22-250 , can anyone please help me I have the ibs rules but i'm not sure about which caliber i'd like to use the rifle for 1000yds competitions I have a 30br that's being built now for 100-200 yard matches thank you in advance for your help

Dasher and don't look back...easier to find dies and tons of info out there.

1-8 twist rate 26-28'' barrel length was another concern I had the 1-8 twist would allow me to shoot different weight but I have seen 1-10 twist rate work well for others

Go with 1-8 and 26-30" finish length is just fine.

If your going to shoot 1k, 105 bullet, 7.5 - 8 twist, 28" barrel

If your planning on shooting 1000 yards do the Dasher. The little bit of extra velocity helps with the 600 yard to 1000 shooting. You also want to use the 105 class of bullets and a 7.5 to 8 twist. Matt

Thank you all for the help I purchased my savage PTA hope to see it by late next week so ill have a little time to shop barrels I am leaning twords shilen 1-8 twist with 26'' finished barrel length
