6 Creedmoor brass question

Interested in experiences and comparisons of different brands of 6 Creedmoor brass both large and small primer versions.

Thanks in advance. :) -Al

Hi Al -- I've been using Lapua small primer and Hornady factory loaded ammo brass in large prime. When I load for the small primer I e been using CCI-450, small rifle Magnum primers.

I guess I've also loaded Federal Gold Metal factory loaded ammo brass in small prime and large prime.

Hi Feller, 6CM, only Lapua I've used was necked down from 6.5 CM small primers because that's all that was available at the time. Went to Pederson because it came out first. Anneal after each firing, 41,5gr R16, Bart's 105s, 3175fps, 8 firings and still good. Switched to Pederson in my BRAs and the BRs because I could tell no difference between it and the Lapua and Pederson is made here. Some have growled about it being softer than Lapua and maybe I don't push as hard as some but I do push the BRAs hard and I can tell no difference between them. The Hornady brass I've reloaded for others has all been LP and stretched really quick in the 6CM, hope this helps... John
Edit for spell check

I am running Peterson SR brass in mine and loving it so far. 40.0gr of H4350 and 105 Vld at 3046fps out of a 22" Shilen #4 8twist.

I went with a LP case because I have “enough” LR primers. Brass may not handle pressure as well, but I will take that if that is what it comes too.
