6 comp match brass

So, I had this idea sitting around as it snowed this weekend. I have been using the false shoulder method for forming my 6 comp match brass using lapua 243 brass. Now the guys at alpha munitions just got their new 260 brass going, and I'd be able to snag quite a bit from them. would I be able to size down the 260 to create my false shoulder as they seem to be very similar case designs. This way I am not sizing up to 260 then back down to 243. In theory this would work the brass less. Ive got great results so far using 243 brass, but if I could save the expanding step this would make my life a lot easier. Let me know what you guys think, in theory it sounds like it would work, and id have no issue getting 1000pcs of 260 to FF. Thanks in advance.

.260 brass will work with just a size down. The neck will be a little thicker than starting with .243 brass.

In theory it would work perfect. I myself would be more concerned about the case capacity of the alpha brass, what I'm reading it is quite diminished in the 6.5 creed case.

I hear the case capacity statement. But using rl26 I'm not really stuffing the case like h1k needed to get the speed I wanted. I can't really step on it for my match loads, since prs limits this cases potential a lot. With the 6.5 Creedmoor we were showing about a grain less powder vs hornady but hornady is light to start with

How much RL26 are you using. I have a ton of H1000 but may try a pound or 2 to see if it'll work in my rifle.
