New project......

6 BRDX,

55 BT and 65 Vmax, what powders do you suggest i start with ????

Looking for speed and accuracy.....

Have N133, N135, Varget, AA2230, H335, and a few others.......

Phil.

Waiting to get it chambered, just curious what`s working for others shooting bullets in this weight class.......

AA2230 is a speed demon in the 6BR i was wondering if it would perform similar in a slightly larger case....

my 28 inch 8 twist 6 BRDX will shoot 3/4 inch 10 shot groups at 300 yards with 68 Berger FB bullets and 3x.x grs Benchmark and the CCI450 primer at 3640 fps,,

I think Junebug shoots N135 with similar results,,makes a good egg load,,

Just starting with 6brxd-7.5 twist Krieger, 28 inch. Any suggestions for starting loads for 105-108 bergers? Still like cci 450 primers with these loads?

I would use the 450 primers and start with 31.5 grs RL 15 then 31 grs Varget and 35 grs H4350.

you will wind up around 33 grs RL15 ,,32.5 grs Varget or 36 grs H4350,,one of those 3 loads should work,,,
I had real good luck with the 105 VLDH orange box Bergers .015 in the lands and 36.0 grs H4350.

I have 2 BRDX barrels I switch on a Savage Target action. 26" X-caliber 8 twist likes 32.0 Varget and 105 VLDs jammed about .012". It also looks like 107 SMK jumped a little with 31.9 Varget will shoot very good. 29" Bartlein 8 twist likes 108 BT with 32.2 Varget. As always, start low and work up.
