6 BRA smith

I have a 308 with a trued Rem700 action and am thinking of trying the 6 BRA. I've shot enough 308 and I wouldn't have to do much to switch over. It's in a chassis that takes AI mags so it would be mag fed. I have a GAP 6 Dasher that runs flawless mag fed with the spacer in back of mag.

Just posting here to see who could chamber up a barrel for me. GAP takes way too long to get it back. Thinking of a Krieger barrel - what twist, and length is working best for these?

Don’t run that shorty on your Remington, if you’re like me I was trying to save 300$ and I payed for it in the long run. It wouldn’t eject. The smith tried filling bevels in the action he tried a m16 extractor (that almost had it) and in the end I ended up with a custom action that runs that short case flawlessly. Save yourself the headache and use that remmy for a 6x47 and buy a low cost custom action. I used alamo Précision for my gun. Call garret he’ll set you up really nice and most stuff is under a month if you’re not waiting on a stock manufacturer. Btw mine is a bart m25 7.5. Yourll love it also I think their action is less than 1000 for a switch barrel in dlc

If you went with Dave Short you made a good move. Dave was a machinist long before he became a precision gunsmith, and not the other way around. He is very detail oriented and knows his stuff. He's busy all the time for good reason.
