6 BRA Barrel?

What is the preferred barrel for the 6BRA? Twist, Lands, Bore, Length? Like to get one built, thinking Krieger 5R 7-1/2 30". Alex? Tom? Any body?

Krieger 8tw, 4 groove, 236, 28”, JGS 104 freebore is working well for me.
Went on the advise from many of the good people on this forum..i have no complaints.

One of my main preferences as well. Barrel choice is going to have less to do with the case and more to do with the bullet, so what ever your favorite 6br, brx, dasher, ext barrel was, the BRA will like it too.

Krieger or Brux 4 groove. 236” bore. 28”. Twist according to the heaviest bullet you want to shoot. If 110 SMK is in your future, go with a 1-7” twist.

I’m shooting the 108’s from .104 freebore. So far I’m super happy with how they shoot. Fireforming with 105’s and 29.2 Varget. Very good semi dialed in groups with 108’s with 30.6

The 105’s also shoot amazingly well with 30.6 or 31.0.

My barrel is a truck axle 1.25 straight. No taper. 8 twist. K4G Krieger 4 Groove. .237 bore.

Brux, 1 in 8 twist, 4 groove, .104 free bore - Berger 108's

Krieger truck axle, 8 twist, 30", 5R. Most accurate barrel I've had. Berger 108s and 105VLDs hammer out of this thing.

I shoot what I call a Pennsylvania taper Br 1.250x28inches .950 muzzle 6mm 4groove Douglas barrel in 6mmbr improved.

.236 or .237” bore?

I get kind of confused on Douglas’s website...if I wanted to order a benchrest quality/top of the line Douglas...what would I need to order...say, for the exact 6mm 4 groove that you are using?

Don't think I'm going out on a limb here when saying Roger's choice of barrel is the same as many of the top MR and LR BR shooters.
