6 br with a brake, can you see impacts ?

I started seeing impacts closer in after I made a conscious decision to not blink when the shot breaks.

A side effect was my accuracy improved a bit too.

Nonetheless, a good brake helps but makes proper hearing protection all that more important!

Ha! Yes, important point.... no one wants to be the guy next to a brake!

I have a Savage bvss in 22-250 that I recently purchased. My plans are to take off the 22-250 barrel and put a 6 br barrel on so I have a 6br to shoot woodchucks with.

My question:
If I have a muzzle brake put on, would I possibly be able to see my impacts say, out past 300 yards ?
( i have a break on my bvss in .223 cal, that I can see hits with after 300 yards. Still too much muzzle jump at closer ranges though ).

Looking for folks that have a break on their 6br with experience.

Shooting 6br, 30", 105 Hybrids, Holland QD brake-easily see hits, recoil is incredibly light

How the rifle tracks has more to do with seeing the hit than any of the rest of the things. You need to parallel and when you pull it back it stays on the point of aim. When you can see the hit at a hundred you will know you are there....... Jim

Absolutely true. I add baby powder to front and back rests.
