6 BR tune ??

thinking about shooting a 6BR in UBR this coming year,,I am sure it wont group agg like a 6PPC but can a person expect a 13.5 twist zero freebore 6 BR to stay in tune and shoot a little more steady going to a match with preloaded ammo??

if it would just stay in tune well enough to shoot around .250 all day without wild fliers or changing loads would work,,,

I've had very good results shooting 68BTs (Barts and JDS) over LT-32 and BR-4 primers in a 14-twist Shilen. Seems to stay in tune for our club score matches; I shot high score last year 250 22x so it will shoot if I do my part.

If you do this, I'll be following your scores closely. Late last seaso I started using BR's in 12 and 9 twist trying to do the same thing you're trying to do. To date, only inconclusive results. Much better some days, and so so on others. On these dates I would try to shoot my ppc too in order to compare scores.

And then, to confuse the issue, Bart comes along with the 6 Grinch...... which I am watching intently too. Seems like there's potentially a bit more forgiveness with that round that the PPC and BR may not have. :) WD
