6 BR or 6 Dasher or another variant

have spent a few hours over the past couple of days searching through this sight, and really appreciate the info. I am a smith in Wyoming but most of my work has been in the realm of large heavies mostly .375 H&H and .458 Lott. I have also built a .243 AI for my wife. The 243 shoots suprizingly well for a light sporter .3-.4's with 58 gr V-Max at 4160fps on the other hand it also cooks barrels fast. I've been considering building myself a new varmint gun with some intrest in 600 - 1000 BR. I was initially considering just the 6 BR but have been seeing a lot of info on the 6 Dasher. Does either tend to be more accurate as a general rule? Or would one of the other variants be a better choice. Since you already need to go with custom dies for the 6 dasher why not try a 6BR with a 45 degree or maybe a higher shoulder angle. Any Thoughts?

JEF,
I had a 6mm BS, it shoot very well. It was a pain forming brass, and was not accuracy during fire forming. It only got me 100 f/s over the standard 6mm br at 2900 f/s, that I am shooting now. The 243AI does very well with 8 twist, running 105gr bullets at 3150 f/s - barrel life is much better. I like the Clinch River 106gr & Berger 105gr for long range matches. For hunting I like 75gr or 87 Vmax. the big VLD bullets will punch thru at long range. I use a 6mm BR for matches & a 6AI pushing 87 vmax at 3600 f/s for varmints.See articles "80 gr Fowler's & 600 yds matches" & "Brothers in arms" for my match guns.
