I'm using some right now. Up to 6-7 firings on each case so far and no problem. How’s about Norma brass
It’s seems softer in the head area and doesn’t last anywhere near as long as Lapua. But it does shoot just fine. How’s about Norma brass
Do you shoot your 1st firing with a 'full house' load? It’s seems softer in the head area and doesn’t last anywhere near as long as Lapua. But it does shoot just fine.
No, I hit all my brass with a lighter load the for the first time to harden the head. I found the accuracy and speed for the same load to be exactly the same as Lapua. But the Norma only make 6-8 loadings at pressures Lapua lives forever at. This has been probably 8-9 years ago. Maybe it’s better now. If you can’t get Lapua the Norma shoots great, just don’t try for the upper nodes that Lapua can shoot.Do you shoot your 1st firing with a 'full house' load?
I have 2 boxes i'd sell for $500. per box plus shippingNo, I hit all my brass with a lighter load the for the first time to harden the head. Now the factory Norma Dasher brass is a different animal. It’s already pretty hard. One moderate load and that stuff goes a long time. It does have just ever so slightly less capacity than Lapua so you can’t shoot the same load as Lapua.
I've got plenty virgin brown box 6BR Lapua and Norma Dasher on the shelf. And none of it's for sale, LOLI have 2 boxes i'd sell for $500. per box plus shipping.

Pete, I hope your needing and using new brass at 90! When I shot trap many years ago we had several guys in their mid 90's still shooting regularly. Hopefully 80 is nothing my friend!I'll be 80 in October so I know well enough it will last me OUT !![]()
