6 br drop

Shooting a 6BR Savage 110LA with a 28" bull barrel. Loading Lapua Brass with 30.1 gn Varget and topping it with 105 gn Lapua Secnar.
What do you figure in inches the drop would be at 1000 yards for this load. (ball park) Scoped it with a Sightron 10-50-x60.

I shoot a 6BR Savage with a 30" Broughton 8twist barrel, with 105 Hybrids running 2920 fps there is a 295" drop from a 100 yard zero. You should be in the ballpark with that.

I'll take a wild guess. 325 inches from a 100 yd zero. About 32 minutes.

Thanks for the replies. My barrel twist is a 9 and don't know the maker of barrel as I bought the gun at a pawn shop with a 12x burris with Manners stock for $350.00 Hole in hole shooter at 100 yds

Mine is 110 26" barrel,, shooting 28.5 gr Varget, Lapua brass, 105 Hornady HPBT (.530 B.C.) at 2880 fps. 0 MOA base zeroed at 100 yards. 28 MOA at 1000 yards at 1,200 altitude. Scope is 2" above bore.
