6 BR course of events in making ammo

O.K. guys if you would be so kind as to help out with advice.
I've just aquired a 6 BR bbl (Shilen no turn SM) for a Savage 110 action. It is a Shilen that was very slightly used and I need to make ammo for it. I have ordered Lapua brass and I have bullets for fireforming. I need to assemble rounds to shoot (fireforming) then turn necks just to clean then up. What dies and bushings will I need. I have been steered toward FL resizing dies with neck bushings Any and all help will be appreciated.

First off, set the headspace as close as you can get it. Start with a go/no gauge then adjust from there. Tight headspace keeps the brass from growing more than needed. I've got some cases with 15 to 20 firings and they're still going strong.
(that's Lapua brass)
I prefer the Forster Bushing Bump Die. (comes with a selection of bushings) Use a body die after maybe 5 or 6 firings. Get a good micrometer top seater. I like RCBS Comp seaters.
Set the headspace, see if your new brass will fit the chamber with no resistance on closing the bolt, if it's ok with the gauges, prime, load an shoot. Check the case measurement on the fired brass. Bump the shoulder .002 or .003 and you're set. (I don't turn necks!!) I don't full length resize my Lapua brass. Bump the shoulder and body size when needed. Find out how long it is to the lands. Jam about .005 or .010. Other than that, go shoot something. ;D YMMV.

I second everything NorCalMikie said for my hunting guns. I will neck size with a Wilson hand die with a arbor press and F/L when needed.

For my 600 yds benchrest guns I F/L size every firing with a ( the podwer measure people) Harrell Pres F/L bushing die with a 0.002" bump only. Harrel can fit the die to your chamber, just send some fired cases to them. But , if you don't have any dies you can't load them to fire them. I use Redding S f/l die also. Forster are good dies also.

If your neck is not tight, you don't need to turn them, I don't. For unturned brass I use a 0.266" for hunting loads ( like a little more grip for hunting guns) and 0.267" target loads.
