6 br build questions

Hello, all I am gathering parts for my first build. I am starting with savage 110e currently in 243, I have a 28 inch 8 twist pac nor on its way, and plan to get a boyd stock. My question is will 6 br feed ok in the 110e action. Any help would be great.

I built a 6 BR from a long action 110 in 270 Win with stagger feed blind magazine. I can assure you that in my case it will not feed. Others have reported the same thing. Since I use it for target shooting, I don't mind single feeding.

6br is known for being a single shot.. it wont feed reliably in most anything.

Did you change your box mag to the short one

If my memory serves me correctly, your best chance for a 6mmbr repeater is with a single stack magazine.

I built my 6BR from a Savage Model 12 originally in 270WSM. It shoots like a laser but wont feed at all, single shot only.

Phil has it right. I built a 6 br repeater using a modified Accurate mag. Had to shorten the follower and add a spacer to the box. Feeds great. Like said above, no stagger feed mags.
