6 br and 65 vmax

I have just aquired a remington 700 trued action and shilen 14" twist barrel. Have already shot a group at 400 yards with 58 grain vmax and vv 133 into a 1/2 inch group! Now I want to experiment with 65 vmax moly. I have varget, Benchmark, and a little vv 133. I'd love some recipes. By the way, it is a standard br with a .263 neck. Also has a 23" barrel, any velocities would be nice. Thanks

TravisC,
I've had excellent results in my 1:14 Hart .265 neck diameter barrel 6 BR using the 65 gr. V-Max. Two loads that work well for me are: 1) 34.5 grn. Varget with CCI 450 mag. primers with V-Max touching the lands 2) 31.0 grn. N135 with Federal small rifle match primers. The Varget load is approx. 3400 ft/s and I haven't chrono'ed the N135 load yet. Both loads will shoot a 5 shot one hole group at 200 meters that measures < 3/8". Let me know what your load is with the 58grn. V-Max, as I would like to try those as well.

Out of a 21" bench gun 30.5 grs of 2230-c is a pleasure to shoot...
just check your OAL with your stoney point...

I am looking through my nesika 6br file and it shoots good out to 600 yds way good at 500 yds and super at 100/200 ...don't be afraid to go past the usual 100/200 stuff its a lot of fun...

I have fired the 55gr Sierra and the 58gr V Max out of an 8 twist 6mm Dasher with no troubles so the heavier ones should be no trouble i used them for fire forming and plinking at targets while forming.
