My 6 ARC build.
20 " Bartlein 7.5 twist
Aero upper / lower
Geissele trigger
Athlon Ares BTR 4.5 - 27
GRIFFIN mount / SPR rail.
JPE adj gas.
Allen Eng. brake
Ops Inc 12th can

15 rds thru / breaking in. Shooting under 0.4" @ 100yd w/ Hornady 105 Black factory ammo. Already shooting better than my 6 Dasher bolt gun, after more than 300 rounds thru it and every possible combo of seating depth and powder charge. Its GOTTA be the NF scope or the barrel on that gun.

I'm thinkin Im gonna like this 6 ARC.

Nice! I’d say barrel...then good trigger and better shooter! The only AR I had that shot groups that small was a Les Baer w/18” bull barrel, cut rifled

I built this cuz I've built at least a half dozen AR's, 3 as precision rifles and never got better than 0.75" @ 100. Hopefully I'm on my way to fixing that failure.

I built a working 6MM ARC with a 16" 7.5 twist, Ballistic Advantage barrel, a complete Aero Precision upper, Aero lower.

I wanted a CQB, hunting rifle and I'm very pleased, my results are very similar to yours with the 105 match Hornady. The 100 yard groups were 1/2", I worked the iron sights to 500 yards and I'm now preparing for a permanent 1x8 tactical scope.

At one time I wouldda been sceptical of a 1-8 LPVO but I also shot the same 223 load on a 4.5 - 27 vs. a 1-8 and got *maybe* 1/4" larger groups at 100 yd. Or maybe it was the shooter shooting and not the scope.

As 99.99999% of the work I see with this rifle I believe will simply be companionship while I get a work out carrying it, I'm looking to go with a scope for clean game kills between 200 and 300 yards, using quick detachable mount so I can access the A2 iron sights if needed.

I believe the LPVO a reasonable compromise for a carry companion, as a civilian I haven't gotten into any gun fights. With that said for decades I maintained fire extinguishers in my house even though I've never had a fire.

If I get lucky maybe a deer will jump out and commit suicide for me.

Mines got a LPVO w/ Holosun red dot @ 45 deg. . My eyesight is already shot. Needs help with optics.

I'm looking at the Holosun myself for a pair of 30 carbines. I have to figure out the mount so I can keep the iron sights.

Luv my Holosuns...esp. the "shake awake" feature. Not sure they flow mwith the 30 Carbine lines....esp.a USGI 30 Carbine , but they be perfect for the caliber.

They make a special mount, they might be ugly once mounted but the rifles not for doing pretty things.
