6.5x55ai question for quickload users

can someone who uses quick load give me some pressure/velocity numbers for a 6.5x55ai using 4831 sc powder in a 30 inch barrel. i have never used quickload and i see alot of guys referencing it here. i am not sure of all the parameters needed so excuse my lack of knowledge on it.
i am just trying to see where my approx max load would be shooting the berger 140 hybrids.

the gun isn't finished yet. i was just looking for some base line info.
thanks joe

Hi Joe

I have been working my way through loads for a new AI swede I built on a savage target action with a 30 shilen.

For fireforming I used 1 grain up from min with a 10 thou jam

For formed cases I loaded 1 grain lower than the max and worked up using ADI2217 in Australia which is the same as H1000 I worked up to 54 grains with no sticky bolt or other issues. Primers just starting to flatten out a little with them 10 thou off the lands. This was with sierra 142s.

This is a great link and has some good info. It was interesting I got good accuracy in the 53.5 to 54gr H1000 range as mentioned here http://benchrest.com/archive/index.php/t-66086.html.

Have fun.

Ryan

I dont have quickloads data but i have played with this round a little, h1000 was a good powder when you can find it. i know its a light load but mine liked52.5 at 2700fps. reloader 22 was better, then i started using n165 and found a good node at 3080fps with the 140 jlks, it was pushing the hot side be carefull.
