6.5x55 reamer

Need some suggestions on what reamer dimensions to go with .Rifle will be used for long range varminting/plinking maybe an occasional F class/tactical match using 140 gr. bullets.And what brass generally has the thickest necks?

try Pacific tool & gauge 541-826-5808 6.5 x 55 Match Finisher w/.295 NK .140 FB 1~30 . should do what you want to do. talk to Dave Kiff. Hope this helps. Lapua brass.

I am having Pacific Tool do mine...actually ordered it today bro!

.294 neck--so you'll need to turn knecks...which I wanted. Minimum Saami Specs throated for 140 Berger VLDS.

If you want a no turn neck then .297 neck.

I am doing a write up section for the 6.5x55 here. I got alot of info now, but more when my latest swede is done.

30 inch barrel 1-8.6 twist Pac-nor Medium Palma Contour stainless super match...mated to a Tikka M695 Master Sporter Action.

Should be a good shooter sitting it its McMillan A-5 stock.

Mac Tilton will be doing the work.

Powders to use I would suggest Vin N560 and Reloader 22.
