6.5x55 real world velocity #'s?

So I guess I'm going to build a 6.5x55 for a 1000yd. f-class, Tactical UKD matches and longish range deer hunting.

What velocities are realistic with the Swede pushing 142 grainers? Well say about a 28" tube.... 8.5 twist....

6mm would be cheapest to feed,
7mm would be the wind bucking, energy & RECOIL king,

6.5mil is seeming the overall best when economy $$, wind, recoil and 600yd.-whitetail killing power are all figured in....

So what are some real world velocity numbers?

Thanks!

Thanks all.

I am shooting the 6.5X55 in a model 96 Swede Mauser military rifle with a standard 29 inch barrel. With a 140 gr Sierra MK and 45 grs. AA 4350 which is a 45,000 CUP load that is supposed to be Max pressure for the old Swede action, but shows no sign of pressure on the case. I am getting 2850 fps on average. So with a stronger action and a 29 or 30 inch barrel you should be able to do around 3000 fps easy.
