6.5x55 20" barrel

What kind of velocities can I get out of a 20" 6.5x55 barrel. It will be on a savage action Shilen 1-8 running 140-142 smks or 139 ball H4831sc or Varget. Want to build a tactical rifle in 6.5x55 to use with suppressor.

Not sure about H4831 and Varget, but extrapolating, using RL22, RL17, 2700fps+ shouldn't be a problem.

I got 2642 fps out of my 18" Swedish carbine using IMR 4831 and Speer 140 SP. So you should have no problem getting to 2700 fps.

Thanks for the input just want a easy to carry tactical rifle in 6.5x55 instead of 308.
