6.5x47L testing 143gr. Hdy ELD-X

Tried to develop a HUNTING load for the Hdy 143gr ELD-X
DEFIANCE Hunter, #4 Krieger 1:8x24" .150 Freebore
Load development w/Lapua brass, BR4, RL17 Best accuracy is 39.9-40.5 grains averaging 2822 too 2853 fps No stiff bolt-lift and the brass and primers appear okay. Bullets are seated close to lands...
Have to space-out the shots as the barrel gets very warm.
Resizing the brass - there was a couple brass with enlarged primer pockets.

I have tried to reduce the velocity under 2800 fps with RL17 in an effort to reduce barrel heat and save brass from being damaged...but the accuracy falls off.
I might try H4350 ...currently my go-to powder for 130Bergers pet load.
Any comments, thoughts or suggestions ?

For that bullet weight that velocity seems pretty hot to me, as evidenced by your primer pockets as well. You may find a nice node around 2750fps. Have you looked at jumping the bullet .020 or more? The 140ELD and RDF shoot well for me in this region.
