6.5x47L oal question w/ 130's

I've got a Savage 10FP w/ McMillan stock in .308 that I'm thinking about converting to a 6.5x47L. I want to use this for a 300yd paper puncher, and as a bean field deer gun. I plan on shooting the Berger 130gr VLDs at the range and Nosler Accubond 130grs when hunting.

Anyone know what the c.o.a.l. would be for a loaded round using the high b.c. 130's? I want to make sure I can seat the bullets out long, past the neck/shoulder junction) and still fit in the SA magazine.

If you have the c.o.a.l. for the 140's as well that you be awesome.

Thanks for the help,
Bill

2.800 with 130 Berger VLD seated .009 jam. They run good for me in a AICS mag. system. Haven't tried the 140's or the Noslers.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. If a 130 is pushing 2.8 overall then it sounds like I wouldn't be able to chase the lands at all. A 130 non VLD should be do-able though.

Tks,
Bill
