6.5x47L load data needed

I need load info for my buddies 6.5x47L. He just wants to shoot Hornady`s. I got the 120`s to shoot w/ 37grs of Varget but I cant find info for the 95`s or 140`s. This is for a dedicated p-dog gun so Vargets my first guess for a all around powder. If I could get H4895 to work w/ the 95`s we`d be happy.

Please help.

i had good luck with an old lot of varget and 130 bergers but i couldn't get the new lots to shoot tighter than the .3's. so i went to RL15, 37- 38 gr. and JLK130's high 1's and low 2's.......jim

I think this board - Jason Baney & company are putting together a 6.5 x 47mm page as we speak. There should be plenty of specific information available shortly. I'm waiting on my rifle, it's being stocked at this moment. Good weather awaits and it looks like everything will be coming together in the next couple of months.

Thanks, I`m looking forward to the data site for the 6.5x47L. I still dont have data for the 95`s and I hope it lists some. I have`nt looked at the new Hornady book yet, does it have data for this?

We got out and tried his new 6.5 out last weekend on some pd`s and the hits w/ the 120Amax were all I expected. Good clean kill but not much expansion at 200+. I cant wait to see what the vmax does. I just might get one built for me...
