Anyone have any loads for 140 Grain Hornady ELd Match bullets?. I have Varget , H4350 ,and N140

I have not shot the ELD's, but with Berger 140 LRT's and 140 Hybrids I am between 39 and 40 of H4350....depending on the BBL. I would think freebore would matter....mine are all done with the same reamer.

I'm beginning to feel that someone else's data is not always useful. I'm shooting 140 Berger Hybrids w/ 36.4gr Varget, the book says 35 is the max, but the person helping me with reloading swears by that load as he has built 10 6.5x47s and it was a successful load. I was afraid I was too hot, but the I saw someone post that they were using 37.5gr Varget so I figured I was safe. And now I have gone looking for a new node with less powder as I was getting difficult ejections, pierced primers, and ejector marks w/ a 26in barrel. I was getting 2755 w/ 36.4 of Varget, but my new node is 35.3 of Varget at 2695. Good luck, 6.5x47 is awesome and super easy to load for.

I'm on my third 6.5x47 and have not been able to get tiny groups with the 140 ELDM. My last 2 were X-caliber blanks and my reamer is a .167 freebore length but I also I did an X-cal blank 6.5 Creed and it shoots the 140 ELDM nice and tiny. All my 6.5x47 like almost the same loads and bullets. 36.5ish Varget or 39.5-40.0 H4350 with 140 Hybrids or LRBTs and they shoot fantastic.
I could only get 39 grains of H4350 in the case and speed was way down so I went to Varget and pressured out at 36.9 but never found great accuracy.
I've had many top 3 finished at my club level matches with the Hybrids but I cannot figure why it's not as happy with the ELDMs. I've had very good results with the 134 and 180 ELDMs in other cartridges. Inquiring minds want to know?

H4350 @ 39.5gns for me, or RL16 if you can find it. Varget never worked as well in any of the three barrels that I had. I ran out of Berger 144’s and 140’s so have moved onto the Hornady 140’s and 147’s and Sierra 142’s. All appear to shoot well in my guns. My ability is the limiting factor.
