6.5x47 lapua

working up a load for my new rifle & was wondering what kind of velocity everyone was getting their best accuracy at?am shooting rl15 with 119gr cauterucio's in an 8 twist broughton with cci 450 primers, can easily get to 3100 fps with no pressure signs, but best accuracy isn't at that speed, any tips would be appreciated

my best groups have been at about 2650,we're talking high ones for 5 shots,at that speed it wouldn't do me any good out to 1000 yds, showed some promise between 2850-2900,might spend some time trying more at that speed & see what happens,i agree that i'd rather shoot accurate than fast,thx...r

I'm shooting 123 Scenars over Re15 and BR-4 primers out of my 28" 1/8.5" twist Border at 2990MV with great accuracy. This speed just seems to be ideal. It was so easy to develop this load that no further load development is needed. In fact it's gotten kind of boring. Now all I do is shoot it

I'm running the 123 Scenars as well. 25.5" Rock Creek 8.5 twist. 2950fps and it shoots in the twos consistantly -- a better trigger nut would do better.
