6.5x47 Lapua brass at Midway.

Just a heads up. In my eblast for new products, Midway has the 6.5x47 brass in stock.

Yeah, but who's willing to pay over $85/100 for it? I don't know what kind of a deal David Tubb had to do with Norma to get his latest order of 6XC brass made up, but when he's selling Norma for under $.50 apiece, it makes Midway's deal look like some serious price gouging.

I am glad to see some one is paying attention to the pricing.

If I have anything to do with it the 6XC Norma brass will always be at least a dime cheaper than the cheapest source for Lapua 6.5x47.

The Norma brass has less than .002 runout at the base and basically .000 at the neck,I see some posting that are necking down the 6.5x47 and experiencing .008 neck runout).

I have reports back from a 1000 competitor using 42 grains of H4350 with his 6XC Norma brass with 115's,going 3150+fps) - too hot a load for my accuracy parameters.

SSS just got several hundred thousand 6mm 115 DTAC bullets in and these are the best shooting batch to date,pricing remains the same as last year).

I paid about $.57/case for 6.5x47 brass from Grafs.

Midway is crazy....

I agree with Walker, Midway's prices on just about everything have gone through the roof. I used to consider them a great source for components but now there are many better options. Compare their prices on Lapua brass with PVI, Bruno's, Graf's or just about anyone in this game and you'll see Midway has lost touch.

I thought that was pretty steep too, but I thought I'd put it out there if somebody really needed it. I've been thinking about this round, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

I'm mostly going to be shooting 1k F-class, but I can't afford to be buying a new barrel every year, hence eliminating the 6.5-284.
