Thanks, for the infos, what coal?start with 37 grs. of N150 and work up. 37.5 works well for me.
Hello, I presume that the Varget are similar a the N140?I'm using varget & alpha brass
38.0 , .008 off jam.
Hello, my all terrain bullets are in fact the Scenar 139gr..I don’t have experience with the 140 hybrid but with the 139 scenar, one lot of powder likes 36 grains and my other lot like 35.5 gr of n150. About 2740fps from a 28” Bartlein. I’d recommend starting quite a big lower than that.
I do not know. The burn rate chart i have has 140 right above varget. A friend uses it at 37.5.Hello, I presume that the Varget are similar a the N140?
N140 is faster than Varget. I used to not think so, but it definitely is.Hello, I presume that the Varget are similar a the N140?

Vihtavuory chart are really conservative on is latest database...I don't dare tell you how to test it but i personally shot up 100 rounds climbing the amount because most were suggesting a really low beginning.
Sorry, I shoot with Sabatti, action are proprietary but similar to Rem 700I'm shooting a bat action, it's a really strong action able to take it.
You didn't say what your shooting.
Yes very smilar to Varget.N140 is faster than Varget. I used to not think so, but it definitely is.
N150 is probably closer.
Thanks!2.845 .
.010 in the lands
63,091 psi. It's a strong case but not 71K. I managed to kill a few early on..What are the max pressure for this caliber?
I simulate with GRT and the software give me to pay attention about at 56000psi
I read on the net that the max safety pressure are about 71000psi, are this limit safety?
I promise, N140 is faster than Varget.Yes very smilar to Varget.
N150 are like a H4350 or RL17
Absolutely. I do wonder whether N140 was speeded up at some point, as many believe that it's a Varget burn rate. It's certainly closer to H4895 these days. N150 is really good in the 308 with heavy bullets - unfortunately, it's difficult to get a continuous supply in NZ, and expensive ( what isn't) when available.N140 is faster than Varget.
