6.5x47 - accuracy with heavier bullets?

Hi all,

Do any of you have experience with the heavier bullets in the 6.5x47 Lapua? I'm speaking of the 140-145 grain range. As I look through posts and the 'guns of the week' it seems like most people are having best success with lighter bullets. Would appreciate any success stories.
Thanks!
Chris

From reading on sniper's hide about guys shooting the 140's they all seem to like the results, but the bullets are a little on the heavy side for the little Lapua case. It seems a general trend that they all shoot well, but less elevation is used for the 120's class bullets. The 6.5x284 guys are still using the 140's with great success and not having to push the life out of the brass by over loading the cases like the 47L guys have to.

Just what I've read, not what I've shot.
