6.5x284 Primer question

I'm shooting H4350 now and would like to try some H4381SC. I've been using 210M primers, some have suggested IFI switch to H4831SC I need to change primers and move up to a 215, due to the possibility of hunting in cold weather.
Comments, suggestions?
Thank you.

A lot will depend on what caliber your shooting, but I burn a lot of H-4831 in a .284 and use the F-210M primer during the winter months with no problem at all..
If I was hunting in 0 temps or below I would probably change to a Magnum primer, but I have hunted in way below that with standard primers in a 375 JDJ
with no problems either....
Usually if I'm burning over 60 grains of powder in anything, I use mag primers..

Thank you, this would be for my 6.5x284, anticipating somewhere around 50 grains of H4831SC, so significantly less than the ~60ish grains you comment on using a Mag primer. Again, thanks.

I was told some years back, to use the following;

CCI-BR2 with H4350
Fed. 210/210M with IMR 4831sc
Win. Std LR with RL22

Give them a try, worked for me.
Gary.

Can't address the cold weather question, but I did apply Jason Baney's round robin testing method to my 284 Shehane F-Class gun with 180gr Bergers at 200 yards. I compared CCI BR-2, Fed GMM210M, and Wolf LRM primers. All loads were identical, except the primers, with a lot more than 50gr of H4831SC in Lapua brass. MV was about 2925fps. The BR-2 consistently gave the best vertical accuracy of the three regardless of the order in which the strings were fired. Having said that, any of the three primers gave what I think would be described as excellent accuracy for hunting.
