Is there a difference between the two or has Norma just thrown their name on a wildat? I was looking in the Midway catalog and I saw brass or dies for the two seperately I can't remember. I was thinking about buying the new Savage " F Class " but I assumed that the 6.5 x 284 was the winchester.
6.5x284 norma vs 6.5x284 win ?

The difference between the 6.5x284 and 6.5x284 Norma is the neck diameter. The Norma round has a slightly smallerneck. The Savage 12F is a .297 chamber neck. You may have to turn necks. I would use Lapua 6.5x284 Norma brass. I have experience in both rounds and the Savage 12F, Goiod Luck!
